Joan Jett, the girl who wanted to be a lady rocker lived in a wild life. With her guitar skills, she joined an audition and failed. She keep trying, until she met Kim Fowley-a record producer. She talked about starting all-girl rock band. Kim was interested and introduced her to Sandy West, a drummer. By the times, they jamming together and recruited another musician. To complete The Runaways, they recruited a hot blondie Cherie Curie. Soon, The Runaways got signed to Mercury records and recording an album. They became famous in a few times. All of these success, changed their life a lot. They used drugs in the way to give the best performance to their fans. This condition suddenly changed when Cherie bored with their wild life, she missed her family. Cherie out of the band and that was the ending of The Runaways carrer. Joan Jett came back to her previous life and got her hardest life but she still continued to play music with her new band, Joan Jett and The Blackheart. She made her own music and songs. After rejected by 23 major labels, she released her own album on her own. Her first single titled “I love rock and roll” became number one hit and sold over one million copies. She became one of the most famous lady rocker who played an instrument.

This biography of Joan Jett's band movie released in March 23 2010 and sold for about $805 in the first week and in the next month it reached up $2 million. It left theathers on june 3 and reached up $4 million. It also released on DVD. It nominated in Mtv teen choice awards as drama movie nomination and best actress. It also nominated in the 2010 Classic Rock Awards.

This movie is not good for children, because they can immitate the bad things in it, such as drugs and violence. But this movie can teach all of teenagers about the dangerous of drugs and free life. Where drugs can break our mind, our body, and break our relationship between society and family. This movie also motivate teenagers to never give up. If we have a dream, then get up, work hard, and make it happen.
